Hylomar Hylotyte Red
Hylotyte Red is a non setting gasket and jointing compound capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250C within a joint. It is resistant to most automotive and industrial fuels and lubricants and the filler system provides an instant seal even on rough or pitted surfaces. Hylotyte Red can be used to replace existing gaskets or as a gasket dressing.
Its chemical composition helps prevent corrosion between dissimilar metals. It is resistant to petrol, oil, steam, water & anti-freeze solutions and dilute acids, such as battery acid.
Hylotyte Red Semi Hardening Gasket Compound is recommended for use on aluminium and alloy cylinder heads etc. It is excellent on flanged and screwed joints.
